Packaging Science hosted the 24th IAPRI Symposium on Packaging on May 17-20th in Greenville, S.C. This conference brought global exposure to Clemson and our outstanding facilities. Oral presentations were given highlighting the best in packaging research worldwide. Poster presentations were made by over 30 others. On Tuesday the members were driven to Clemson and given a tour of our research labs and the Sonoco Institute. Everyone was impressed with the top-notch facilities. Social activities and meals were an important part of the proceedings as well.
